Abdominoplasty

Tummy tuck removes excess skin and tightens loosened muscles of the abdomen. Most patients have had previous pregnancies or massive weight loss. Contraindicated in smokers and obese patients.

Body Mass Index

Plastic Surgery is not a substitute for diet and exercise. Overweight and obese patients are at increased risk for complications including death when undergoing body contouring procedures such as Lipoplasty (liposuction) and Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). Patients should have a BMI of no greater than 25 to undergo these procedures. To calculate your BMI click: Calculate your BMI - Standard BMI Calculator
