Tuba (Trans-umbilical breast augmentation)

TUBA or trans-umbilical breast augmentation is a newer technique that places breast implants through a single incision hidden within the navel.

The advantages aside from the single concealed incision include less patient postoperative pain and risk of nerve damage preserving sensation to the nipple.

Inflatable saline implants are used which are first rolled up and then filled after they are inserted in the appropriate breast pocket, above or below the muscle. For more information and to decide what size implants you would like click here.
